Blogmas: Christmas Gifts For Dogs Under £12
In the past I would probably have wondered why anyone would spend so much on dogs for Christmas. But in recent years, and especially since we got Arthur I am not ashamed to say I’m one of those obsessed dog people. They are part of the family, so they get gifts too. I’ve rounded up some of my favourite Christmas gifts for dogs for under £10, so nothing that will cost too much but still keeps them involved on Christmas Day.
A personalised pet Christmas stocking.
There are a lot to choose from on Etsy for under £10, and it’s always nice to shop for an independent. These specific ones are £7.95.
A Festive Moose Toy
I got this for Arthur and let him have it early, and it’s one of my favourite Christmas gifts for dogs from this whole list. A very cute moose with tartan shoes and antlers from The Range. He was just £5.99 and the rope legs are great as they don’t rip off as easily.
Pigs in Blankets
Everyone’s favourite part of Christmas dinner, and dogs can have then too. Pigs in Blankets! There are a lot of variations out there but these ones are £1.99 from The Range.
Photo props
I mean, I can’t see Arthur keeping these on or in one piece for longer than 5 seconds, but still if your pooch isn’t phased by having his/her photo taken these props would make for some funny photos. Just £1 for 10 props from Wilko.
Wainwright’s Christmas dinner
A full turkey Christmas dinner with a side of pigs in blankets? Coming right up from Wainwright’s at Pets at Home, for £2.
Christmas pudding bowl
And if they’re joining in with Christmas dinner then they might as well eat it from a festive bowl! Also from Wilko this Christmas pudding bowl is £2.50.
40 Piece Chew treats stocking
This will last Arthur for ages! 40 raw hide chews in a stocking, from Pets at Home for £4.99.
Lilys Kitchen advent calendar
An advent calendar for your dog, which although it is sold out online and unlikely to come back in stock due to how popular they are, they are also available in Fenwick’s Christmas department for £10.
Santa blanket
These are so cute, a Santa blanket to keep your dog comfy, also perfect for on the sofa. Reduced to £5 from £8 in B&M.
Festive leg warmers
Something to keep their little paws warm on frosty mornings, these festive reindeer leg warmers are adorable. They also come in other colours and characters like snowmen and Santa. Just £2 per set at B&M.
Christmas harness
For harness wearing dogs these Christmas character ones are so cute, choose from Santa costume, Santa baby or an elf for £6 from B&M.
Plaid Bow ties
I wish Arthur wore a collar so I could put him in one of these but pugs don’t for their breathing, however I think they’re gorgeous. Green or red plaid bow ties, for £3.99 on Etsy.
Christmas Jumpers
Pets at Home have a great range of good quality knitted Christmas jumpers, I’ve got Arthur a red and white patterned one with reindeer antlers, but I also really like this grey elf one for £10-£12.
Selection box
These look really good, a selection box full of different treats. Available on Amazon for £11.99.
Christmas tarts
An adorable pack of 2 festive tarts, which they’ll probably enjoy more because they look like human food. These are £3 from Pets at Home.
Toy Selection from Asda
Asda have quite a big range of small Christmas toys, that are a lot cheaper than places like Pets at Home. Have a look at the candy cane toy £2, snowflake pet balls £1 each, Crinkle Claus £4, and even a Christmas Eve box £2.
Hope you have lots of fun with your furry friends this festive season, and that I’ve given you some inspiration for Christmas gifts for dogs!
