Practical tips for travelling to Avoriaz

The closest airport is Geneva, approximately 90 minutes’ drive away. Upon airport arrival, shuttle buses and private transfers are available to take you directly to the resort. 

Avoriaz’s high altitude means cold temperatures and snow until the end of April, so packing plenty of warm layers, including thermal wear, a high-quality ski jacket, and waterproof gloves, is essential. Sunscreen and sunglasses are also crucial, as the sun’s reflection on the snow can be intense.
