Blogmas: Last Minute Gifts That Will Still Arrive In Time For Christmas
Rushing around for some last minute Christmas gifts? I don’t know about you but my weekends and most weekday nights have been filled with socialising after not being able to last year. It’s a good job I was organised with a lot of my Christmas shopping in November, but there are a few presents I still have to buy. If you can’t face the shops, or don’t want to be among the crowds at the moment, here’s some last minute gifts that will still arrive in time for Christmas if you’re shopping online.
I do usually like to share more of the local gifts rather than big corporate chains when it comes to gift ideas, but sometimes it has to be done. Many local independents stop Christmas deliveries and orders a lot earlier in December. I am also a big fan of all of these brands. I think they make lovely gifts if they’re things you genuinely use. Don’t go spending a fortune for the sake of it, these are meant to be inspiration for nice gifts but ones you can still get with just a few days until Christmas.
While many of my blog posts this year have included brand recommendations, unless otherwise stated I haven’t received any payment for them, and I haven’t even included affiliate links this year. This post is no different.
Look Fantastic
My absolute favourite site for a beauty haul, or replenishing stocks, Look Fantastic has all my favourite brands for make up, skincare and haircare including Bobbi Brown, Clinique, Bare Minerals, Jo Malone, GHD haircare, Bare Minerals, Laura Mercier and many many more. You can get standard delivery if you order up to and including 21st, or next day delivery if you order by 5pm on 23rd December.
I don’t usually like gift sets as I think you always get less of what you do want and more of what you don’t from them, but in their gift section I do like the look of the Moroccan Oil gift set, and the YSL gift set. A lot of the individual brand websites are no longer taking online orders so Look Fantastic is a great alternative, either for presents or your own products that might run out!
Shop Look Fantastic here.
White Company
A brilliant shop for gifts, but by this point unless you know they like the festive smells and will use them after Christmas I would focus on some of the other ones. The candles are ALWAYS a perfect gift, and so are the diffusers, pyjamas, slippers and homeware. It’s also a good choice for baby presents, the clothes and soft toys are just gorgeous.
You can shop The White Company for Christmas delivery if you choose next day delivery until midday 22nd December.
Charlotte Tilbury
Orders for Christmas delivery from Charlotte Tilbury have passed, so it’s a Fenwick’s visit if you want anything before Christmas. To order in time for New Year’s Eve you still have time online. Might be a good one for if you get Christmas money.
Jewellery from Daisy London, Monica Vinader and Thomas Sabo
I adore my Daisy London jewellery (this was gifted to me) and wear it daily in both gold or silver depending on what I’m going with that day. It’s affordable, and very good quality with some unique pieces. Order by 1pm on 22nd December for Christmas delivery.
Shop Daisy London jewellery here.
Monica Vinader is another favourite, with some beautiful sets as well as one off pieces. They’re great for mixing and matching too. Shop Monica Vinader by 22nd December to get in time for Christmas.
It doesn’t actually say on site when the cut off for Thomas Sabo is, but if there is something you want to gift or buy yourself they do also sell it in Fenwick and John Lewis.
Daniel Wellington
I’m gutted they don’t sell Daniel Wellington in Fenwick anymore, they do in John Lewis but it’s a limited collection. The watches are lovely and make a very nice present in all sorts of styles, me and Kieran got each other them one year. For free standard delivery you need to order by 2pm today (if I’ve got this post out in time) but for express delivery you have until the 23rd so plenty time.
Shop Daniel Wellington UK here.
Aspinal of London
Aspinal of London have some lovely luxury leather goods, and I’ve shopped quite a few of their accessories range in the past like phone covers. The cut off for personalised items has passed but you can still get non personalised items before Christmas if you choose express delivery at checkout before 23rd December.
Hunter Wellies
A British wardrobe staple year round, Hunter wellies are a cracking Christmas gift if the person youre buying for liked the outdoors, dog walking, glamping, etc… Brilliant quality and a lot of colours available, as well as other products available, shop Hunter Boots until 22nd December for Christmas delivery.
Reiss
I honestly think Kieran’s entire wardrobe is from Reiss, and I love their dresses and winter coats. You can order online until 7pm tonight for either collect in store or next day delivery.
Jimmy Choo Beauty
I was recently gifted a bottle of the Jimmy Choo new perfume ‘I Want Choo’, and also received a nail polish, sunglasses and lipstick from the range too. Beautiful quality both for the beauty range and the shoes of course, I wore Choos for both weddings I was bridesmaid this year. Order items today for delivery before Christmas.
Shop Jimmy Choo Beauty here. If you miss the 21st deadline then Fenwicks sell the perfume in the fragrance hall.
M&S
Scrap the clothing, and head straight to the food section. The Christmas food gifts, boxes and gin bottles are all really good this year, not too novelty and all their food always tastes great. I like the look of the cheese boards, the gold gin and the biscuit tins. Being food, they have delivery availability at selected times every day until Christmas.
Apple Products
Air pod pros were one of the best and most useful things I’ve bought this year, and I upgraded my phone to the new iphone 13 pro max. I don’t buy things from Apple very often, but I suppose that shows how lasting their products are even though they don’t come cheap. If you have any Apple products to buy this list shows all the cut of dates, 22nd December for a lot of them.
LRM Goods
LRM deadline for delivery has technically passed, but I’m still including them here as one of my orders came next day delivery, which is so fast even without that delivery option. Obviously I can’t guarantee this, but they are also in Fenwick if you can get to the shop. I was gifted my first bag from them earlier in the year, and have since bought 2 more for myself and 2 as gifts. Really good affordable presents in a full range of colours and styles.
The velvet range is beautiful for Christmas, my black Friday purchase was the red one for over the festive season.
A Hotel Stay
The one present you don’t need delivering. Book a hotel stay, a mini break, a glamping trip – anything where all you need to do is print off a confirmation. These are the best kind of gifts if you ask me!
And finally, good old Amazon Prime for technology, books, games and stocking fillers. A lot of football is on over Christmas on Amazon Prime so you could always get someone a subscription who would appreciate that too.
Hopefully this has given you some inspiration for last minute gifts and you can still get the ones you need ordered and delivered before the big day.
