Merry Christmas!
I hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday with family, friends and loved ones, and that you’re still basking in the leftover turkey, chocolate at any time of day, and plenty of prosecco.
I finished work last week and for the first few days of my holiday I gave myself the time to chill, recuperate after a mad end to the working year, and took part in loads of festive fun that didn’t include blogging about it.
I had a very Christmassy weekend in York and Edinburgh, drinking mulled wine and visiting the markets, then of course that just ran into Christmas Eve and Christmas Day itself.
I’m now full of cold, sat in my reindeer onesie catching up on all the Christmas TV I’ve been recording. As annoying as it is feeling like crap, at least I managed to get through Christmas and should be ok for my next Christmas event at the end of the week with the girls.
It’s pretty standard at this time of year to look back over the last 12 months at how the year panned out, . so over my last few blog posts of 2018 that’s exactly what I’m going to be doing.
I obviously do a monthly round up every month, as I love looking back at the end of the year to really see all the things I’ve done, and it’s one of the reasons I love blogging. It’s amazing how much you forget until you look back.
So you can expect some light hearted, slightly more personal posts over the next week into the New Year, as cliche as that may be. Feel free to tune out until January if you prefer, but whatever you’re doing over the last week of 2018 I hope you have a great time.
Merry Christmas! x
